Fishing at Buhl Park

Fishing at Buhl Park offers an exceptional experience for anglers of all ages on picturesque Lake Julia, a centerpiece of the park’s natural beauty. Fishing is available seasonally and is stocked twice a year by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission with a variety of trout species. Anglers are reminded to adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the PAFBC to ensure the preservation of the natural ecosystem and the enjoyment of all visitors.

Borrow a Rod & Reel

Fishing Tackle Loaner Program

Fishing equipment is available for rent at Snappy’s Boat Rental. The fishing rod comes with a basic tackle kit with weights, bobbers and hooks.  Equipment is due back that day before the park gates close. If you would like to rent, visit Snappy’s Rental Office and fill out a request form.
