Bring Your Troop to Buhl Park
Join us in Sandy’s Place – Buhl Park’s Environmental Outdoor Learning Center.
At Buhl Park, troop leaders can immerse their scouts in a range of enriching activities focused on nature, ecology, and outdoor skills. Our programs can cover diverse topics including ecology, sustainability, outdoor skill-building, and exploration.
Scout Programs
Park educators can lead your troop in activities on a variety of different topics, including:
- Plants, fungi, animals, astronomy, ecology
- Sustainability: conservation, recycling, gardening, composting
- Outdoor skills: “Leave No Trace,” fire-building, outdoor first aid, orienteering
- Outdoor recreation: fishing, canoeing, kayaking
- Nature walks, bird walks, night hikes
- Nature crafts, outdoor art
And more topics customized to meet badge requirements!
Cost
Cost starts at $5 per scout for a 90 – 120 minute program, plus any additional supply costs.
