Welcome to Paw’s Place at Buhl Park
Paw’s Place member-only dog park is your canine companion’s exclusive playground. Nestled in the southeast corner of Buhl Park, between the Avalon Golf and Country Club, Baseball Field, and Tennis Courts, this off-leash dog park spans 1.85 acres and features separate areas with obstacles for small and large dogs to enjoy, ensuring safe play for all furry friends.
With double gated entry and access card security, Paw’s Place prioritizes safety while providing convenience for members. Ample parking is available adjacent to the park in the lot shared with Avalon Golf and Country Club. Paw’s Place is open during regular park hours.
Complete with shade trees, benches, dog waste bags, and garbage/recycling cans, Paw’s Place offers both pups and their owners a comfortable and inviting environment. While there’s no water source onsite, feel free to bring your own to keep your pup hydrated during their playtime adventures. Join us at Paw’s Place for a tail-wagging good time!
Membership Fees
The annual fee provides you with access to the Dog Park for one year from your registration/renewal date.
$40.00 – 1 dog
$5.00 – each additional dog
Passes are required for entrance to Paws Place. Passes are not transferrable. Discounts or reduced pricing is not available for partial-year use of Paws Place.
Everyone must have a Membership Pass to use Paws Place.

To apply for membership to Paw’s Place or to renew your membership, please follow the button below. Please read the rules and regulations first. You will be asked to provide proof of vaccination as a part of the membership application.
Rules & Regulations
Guidelines for Use
- Users of Paws Place do so at their own risk. Buhl Park Corporation is not responsible forany injury or damage caused by any dog in or outside of the off leash area.
- Users must comply with the General Rules & Regulations of Buhl Park Corporation.
- All dogs must be leashed outside Paws Place dog park.
- Remember to wear your current Membership lanyard/pass while in the facility.
- Only one membership holder and their dog(s) should be in the transfer area at one time.
- Please secure gates behind you.
- A $15 fee will be charged to replace a lost/damaged access card and lanyard.
- Owners are responsible for keeping their dog’s vaccine status current and for submitting the corresponding records to the Park Office.
- The following vaccinations are required for membership to Paws Place (please check with your vet to verify your dog’s status): rabies, distemper, hepatitis, para influenza, parvovirus, bordetella, leptospiriosis, fecal for parasites.
- Do not give your card to anyone, other than those listed on your registration, no matter their reason.
- Direct anyone who asks you to use your access card to contact the Park Office.
- The following activities or items are prohibited within the confines of Paws Place: food of any kind, dog treats, smoking, littering, bikes, and climbing on or over the fence.
- Cooperation between dog owners is expected, including keeping order and enforcing Paws Place rules and the Rules & Regulations of Buhl Park.
- Collars are to be securely fastened and worn at all times. No pincher or spiked collars allowed.
- Dogs must display a current and valid dog license and rabies tag on their collar.
- A dog handler 18 or older must be present at all times and is solely responsible for the action of their dog(s) and any guests accompanying them.
- No aggressive dogs allowed. Immediately leash your dog and exit Paws Place if aggressive behavior is displayed.
- Patrons should not chase dogs in Paws Place.
- Before approaching or handling another dog, obtain permission from the owner.
- Dogs that are in heat, under 6 months of age, or bark excessively are not permitted in Paws Place.
- No electronic devices, firearms, explosive devices, noisemakers, and live or dead animals may be utilized for training purposes or any other purpose within Paws Place.
- Patrons are responsible to clean-up and dispose of feces left by their dog. Failure to pick-up after your dog may result in loss of Paws Place privileges.
- Patrons are responsible to fill any holes their dog may dig.
- Failure to comply with the rules may result in loss of privileges and removal from Paws Place.
- Buhl Park Corporation staff has the authority to close the site for maintenance, weather hazards, rule violations, and special events without prior notice.
- Maximum number of dogs per adult is two and both dogs must remain in the same exercise area as their owner. Large dogs (26 pounds and up) are not allowed in the small dog area.
- Dogs must remain in sight of the owner and should never be left in Paws Place unattended.
- Dogs must be leashed prior to entering and leaving Paws Place. Owners must carry a leash for each dog at all times.
- Dogs running free in Paws Place should remain away from the gates when other dogs are entering and exiting.
The cooperation of all members is imperative to maintaining the integrity of this exclusive-use facility.
In case of emergency (dog bite or dangerous behavior) immediately call 911 for assistance.
