Field Trips

Why Plan A Field Trip to Buhl Park?

Engagement and connection to the real world is such an important piece of education. What better teacher than the great outdoors. Our field trip programs are taught in Sandy’s Place, our outdoor classroom, and other park locations for a unique, year-round learning experience.

Our professional Environmental Educators will lead your students in activities to facilitate their exploration and instruction while having fun. Our curriculum is tailored for pre-school through 8th grade. We offer two-hour programs for $5.00 per student, with a minimum of 10 students in the group. An all-day visit (4 to 5 hours) is also available for $7.00 per student. By scheduling your trip to our outdoor classroom at Sandy’s Place, you will have private access to indoor and outdoor space, picnic tables, restrooms and a kitchenette.
